It might be aging, it might be a bit less the the top of the spec heap today, but the Moto X (2014) is still one of the best devices available today and Republic Wireless really wants you to take one home right now. They want you to have one so badly, they are dropping the pricing $150 on the older Moto X. The Republic Wireless version of the Moto X features 16GB of internal storage, a 5.2” AMOLED HD display, LTE speeds on the Sprint network and a 13MP camera. To make the device even better, it also features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Moto Voice with Google Now.

The real savings on this deal won’t just be limited to the handset though. With the flexible plans from Republic Wireless, you will get a refund every month on whatever data you don’t use. For example, the unlimited talk and text only plan is $10 a month. To add a full GB of LTE data, your price goes up $15 to $25 total. If you only use half of that data, you get a refund on the other half, making your bill just $17.50 for that month. It’s quite a novel concept in cellular, but for a long term user, Republic Wireless can save $100’s every month, while still giving you a great deal on that new phone.

2 Year Cost: $25 (x12) + $249 (Moto X – 2014) = $549

The Republic Wireless Moto X deal will run until supplies are gone, but if you have been eyeing this money saving deal, the best time to get it would be now. With a $20 a month bill and a nice handset for $250, there’s not much to dislike about this deal. If you want a plan and 2 years of coverage for less than most new flagship phones will set you back, check out the Republic Wireless deal on the Moto X below.
