Back in February of this year, Solavei went public, along with Ready SIM, promised that T-Mobile LTE’s network would be opened up very soon. That was almost 10 months ago and as 2013 comes to a close, the magenta network has yet to open their higher speed LTE network to any of the T-Mobile MVNO’s. Of course, when the time does come, the fact that Solavei and Ready SIM tried to bust in to the party prematurely will probably weigh heavily on T-Mobile’s decision making process.
Of course, as I’ve pointed out in previous posts, LTE isn’t all that much better than T-Mobile’s HSPA+42 network, but the question begs to be answered. Will Solavei get those LTE speeds they promised in February of 2013 by February of 2014 or is it just another empty promise that the service failed to deliver to their users.
