One of my biggest frustrations in the Solavei system is their lead capture system. Currently, I have over 10,000 visitors to my Solavei home page. Only 4 of them have actually signed the guestbook showing any interest in the system. The other 10,007 people have left me no information what-so-ever. It’s sad to think that 10,000 people saw my tweets, my links and my posts and didn’t bother to leave me an email to get more info, but that’s the system.
Now, by setting up my own personal page, with proper tracking, I can see the information that a browser presents to the server and get a bit better idea of my personal page visitors. So, I setup a very simple page with a video and a more information form – just asking for a name and email. Once that is done, I can email added information to those people and answer any questions they may have with just a few clicks.
Not to say that Solavei has a poor lead capture system, but when 10,000 people visit and I only get contact information on 4 or them, there has to be a better way.
